Course Description
Students have the opportunity to study for a general MBA or to specialise in: The management of the biotechnology industry; energy and petroleum; corporate finance; human resource management; marketing; or sports development.The course covers the main functions of business and management; a choice of options enabling specialisation in an area of interest to be studied in depth; skills development workshops to enhance transferable skills and the completion of a report or dissertation; each pathway focuses on a particular field or functional area of management; consists of 2 specialist modules; plus dissertation.

Good Honours or equivalent degree in any discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification (for example ACCA, CIMA, CIPDGrd, or CEng), relevant work experience (normally 3 years), and 2 supporting references, at least 1 of which should be academic; applications also considered from outstanding candidates who do not have the normal academic qualifications but who have achieved considerable work experience in management; applicants with professional qualifications such as the Chartered Management Institute Executive Diploma or the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) may qualify for entry with advanced standing; candidates who do not have relevant managerial work experience but who have achieved previous outstanding academic results and professional vocational qualifications may also be considered for admission; a GMAT score may be provided as supporting evidence by applicants who do not meet the normal admission criteria.
