Course Summary

Course Description

This course provides students with a comprehensive grounding in the key aspects of personal skills and managerial development; students analyse and examine the business environment as applied to the SME sector and will be given the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to personal and organisational settings by examining many of the challenges the businesses face on a day-to-day basis.

Students learn key entrepreneurial skills including: Critical analysis skills; high level presentation skills; business collaboration and consensus and team working skills.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a small or medium sized enterprise; applicants must also possess: A UK degree/postgraduate degree or equivalent; NVQ Level 4 in management or professional development certificate in management studies; relevant postgraduate qualification; applicants without the above qualifications may be considered for entry onto this course if they have substantial management experience.
