Course Description
The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive background in all aspects of business and management, while also providing an opportunity to focus in on a specialist area of management for those who so wish; all students study 12 compulsory modules which include the core areas of strategic management, organisational behaviour, finance, marketing, human resource management and operations management; students then select 3 elective modules and also prepare a major business project and those who choose to do so within a specialist field are deemed to have followed 1 of 5 pathways: Accounting and finance, human resource management, international management, marketing and strategy, or operations management and logistics; alternatively, students may follow a general route and select electives across these disciplines.Additional Entry Requirements:
Recent graduates with an Honours degree from an approved university or those with a similar level of qualification gained by other methods; non-graduates with approved professional qualifications or work experience may also be considered under certain circumstances; a score of 570 on TOEFL (230 on computer based marking) or band 6.5 on IELTS is required for non-native English speakers or those who have not had a substantial part of their education taught in the English language.
