Course Summary

Course Description

The course offers an integrated approach to learning by aligning business knowledge with contemporary business issues, ensuring that what is learnt is practical and relevant; personal and professional development is central to the Cranfield experience, as is the sharing of experience and skills; the first part of the course involves an intense and diverse curriculum of 13 core business modules that build competence in the main functional areas of business and the key skills associated with performing these functions; in part 2 students then select elective themed modules that take an integrated approach to contemporary business issues and current research; a compulsory international business experience (IBE) study tour module allows students to apply their learning in an international context; each IBE includes academic input through a partner business school, hosted company visits and meetings with course alumni and other community members; the programme closes with a capstone event which is an opportunity for our students to source, research and present a topical management issue, and showcase their learning to alumni and industry leaders.
