Course Description

The course has been formally accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA); students can either choose options freely if taking the general programme, or choose options for a specialist MBA in the area of: Financial management; marketing management; leadership; entrepreneurship and innovation.

Compulsory modules: Accounting information; financial management; from Medici to Microsoft: integrated management in theory and practice; managing strategic resources and operations; marketing management; organisational behaviour; strategic management; dissertation; option modules: 3 from: advanced investment analysis; banking and financial services; brand communication; business and society; consumption, markets and culture; corporate finance; crisis, change and creativity in organisations; derivatives pricing; e-round tables; event management; international financial management; internet marketing in the information society; leadership theories and practice; management in the 21st century; process information management; strategic innovation management; the entrepreneurial spark: building successful new ventures.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Normally a 2.1 Honours degree, GPA of 3.0 or above, or equivalent-level professional qualifications, plus at least 3 years' relevant work experience; applicants should be over 24 years of age; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0.
