Course Description

The course equips graduates for careers in the demanding and exciting world of the agricultural and food industries; develops a broad awareness of business thinking, encouraging students to be highly adaptable, open minded and creative in their approach to business problems.

Business strategy; personal and organisational change; marketing, planning and strategy; economics and policy; financial management; plus focus modules: Food chain; information management and strategy; consultancy project; exploring management practice experimentally; dissertation.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Normally, an Honours degree (minimum 2:1), or an overseas equivalent; a minimum of 2 years' work experience with managerial responsibilities; mature candidates with significant relevant work experience and lower academic qualifications may also be considered for entry following interview; IELTS 6.5 average, with no element below 5.5; students with other qualifications, including overseas awards and alternative English language qualifications, are advised to contact Admissions to discuss the suitability of their award for entry to their preferred programme of study.
