Course Summary

Course Description

The course empowers candidates to formulate innovative policies and problem solving strategies that will adapt readily to new environments and business challenges; focuses on the evaluation of strategic issues and develops an understanding of management from a wide variety of perspectives.

Students carry out their own self-directed study outside of course attendance, with support from teaching staff by email or telephone; the course culminates in a dissertation of 18-20000 words; will major on a specific aspect of interest to the individual and incorporate many of the themes studied during the programme; an individual tutor will be assigned who will provide continued guidance throughout the dissertation process.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) or equivalent; applicants with a good degree in an appropriate subject and with relevant experience are also considered; students should have reached a position where management skills can be applied to the workplace situation.
