Course Summary

Course Description

This programme enables learners to develop a critical awareness of contemporary management and global business issues and an ability to apply management theories to strategic business matters and conduct academic research into business and management issues; the programme encourages managers to become reflective practitioners who continuously engage in personal and professional development; in the final year students study research skills and then embark on a dissertation exploring a management issue of their own choice.

Business environment; reflective management and leadership; financial management: Reporting and performance; marketing; organisational behaviour; managing information and decision-making; project management; strategic management; research methods; dissertation.

Additional Entry Requirements:
2 years supervisory or management experience and a 1st or 2nd Class degree, or postgraduate qualification deemed as equivalent; applicants with substantial management experience, who lack the above academic qualification, are invited for interview.
