Course Description

The 1st 4 months studying is 2 full days a week at Sheffield Hallam University; then study by distance learning, while working with an arranged Microsoft partner.

Taught modules: Information systems?the management challenge; information, communication and behaviour; business intelligence; strategies, structures and systems; information for global and strategic marketing; investment appraisal and business benefits; change management and system implementation; information, production and operations management; Microsoft Dynamics applications: 2 pieces of training on Microsoft Dynamics applications; during the taught phases of the course; dissertation; study a research principles and practice module before carrying out a major piece of original work for the dissertation.

Additional Entry Requirements:
An upper 2nd Class Honours degree or above in a relevant discipline; 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a management position; plus; a good background knowledge of issues that arise in managing organisations and the desire to take that knowledge and understanding further; significant managerial experience to ensure that concepts and techniques can be related to practical experience.
