Course Summary

Course Description

The course is of interest to practising managers seeking to develop their management skills and enhance their career prospects in a global business environment; the aim of the course is to develop creative and strategic thinking that can be effectively applied to any organisation.

Core modules: issues in international management; economics of banking; management decision making; strategic management; business simulation; research methods; 2 options from: business ethics; enterprise, entrepreneurship and innovation; human resource management and development; project management; all students complete a management project.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Good Honours degree and have recent management experience of at least 2 years where applicants have had team and budget responsibilities; additionally, overseas students will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language to at least IELTS 6.5 and must submit a short written piece (approx. 500 words) to help confirm an appropriate level of business communication skills.
