Course Summary

Course Description

This degree involves: Taught courses and experiential learning workshops comprising 25 residential days at Strathclyde and LT F (14 days in 1st year, 5 days in 2nd, and 6 days in 3rd); distance learning through case studies, exercises, books, videos, CDs, and tutor support; choice of leadership topics in assignments for leadership related courses; and leadership project and dissertation (on average, 15 hours of study per week is required).

Module 1 (3 credits): the learning manager; module 2 (78 credits): management fundamentals and process; module 3 (45 credits): management, strategy and the international environment; module 4 (18 credits): leadership in organisations; module 5 (36 credits): leadership project and dissertation.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Good 1st degree in non-business related discipline or other qualification equivalent to an Honours degree from a UK university; high-potential candidates with business degrees may be considered for entry; a 250 TOEFL or 100 IBT test score for applicants whose 1st language is not English; satisfactory GMAT results may be required if qualification is from a non-UK institution.
