Course Description

Aviation is a dynamic and fast moving industry within which leaders and managers need to address competitive pressures and radical change, balancing these with environmental and macro-economic issues; this programme addresses this need and uses critical and evaluative approaches, concepts and methods to contribute to the development of aspiring senior leaders and managers in this industry; the programme comprises 8 core module and a business research project.

Core: Corporate and business finance; leading people and managing organisations; air transport information management; strategic marketing management; operations management; corporate and competitive strategy; airport management and operations; airline management, economics and ethics; business project.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Both a good 1st degree and a minimum of 3 years' postgraduate managerial or professional work experience gained in the aviation industry; candidates without a 1st degree but who can demonstrate extensive managerial experience at a senior level are considered; where English is not the 1st language applicants must show evidence of competence in English.
