Course Summary

Course Description

The main aims of the programme are to provide experienced management practitioners with an opportunity to think more deeply and critically about the work that they do, and to use this critical evaluation to generate recommendations to enhance management practice.

An introduction to management research; research methods and research design; modelling management; qualifying research proposal (QRP); plus research phase of the programme.

Additional Entry Requirements:
A Master's degree with a business or management focus (an MBA or an MA or MSc in a management subject); a minimum of 5 years' of relevant management experience; a credible research proposal in an area where the Birmingham Business School (or wider college) has appropriate supervisory capacity; English language proficiency suitable for this level of study.
