Course Description

The course engages students with the latest management thinking, developing your knowledge across core subjects; more in-depth study follows, as you choose modules focusing on particular strategic issues; throughout, students tackle real-world business issues and have the opportunity to work with companies in this country and overseas via international study tours, exchanges and team consultancy projects.

The core curriculum provides a comprehensive foundation across all the main subjects involved in business administration; there are 8 compulsory modules at this stage: Managing the strategy dimension; managing the marketing dimension; managing information and knowledge dimension; managing the people dimension; managing the financial dimension; managing the economic dimension; managing the operations dimension; business research methods.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Candidates should have a first degree (normally 2:1) or an equivalent professional or academic qualification; maths and English GCSE or equivalent; a period of professional work experience incorporating operational responsibilities; three years minimum; applicants whose first language is not English will need to provide a language proficiency test achieving at least; TOEFL: 560 (incl. TWE: 5.0); IELTS: 6.5 (incl. Reading/Writing: 6.0); please note that additional English language support will be available at the University.
