Course Description

On completion of the course students have the knowledge and skills to: Integrate all aspects of management in strategic decision making; manage and control different disciplines such as finance, marketing and human resource management within a health care organisation; manage relationships with employees and clients; manage processes and achieve the desired results within a health care organisation; continuously introduce and apply best practices from comparative health care systems at local and international level to improve the existing systems and processes of a health care organisation.

Managing finance; managing markets; managing information; managing people; managing operations; managing strategy; a strategic perspective of health care management; comparative study of contemporary issues in health care management; research methods; dissertation.

Additional Entry Requirements:
Degree in any discipline recognised by the University of Wales; or 2 years' relevant experience in a management capacity; IELTS 6.5.
